Yes. It is true. For those who scoff and doubt (I'm sure you will be legion) that the most notorious lost film of all times was located, I will say it again with authority and conviction...

I, Sid Terror, saw Lon Chaney's lost classic LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT with my own eyes. Without a doubt. No I am not talking about a recreation made completely from still photos, I'm talking about the entire long-lost motion-picture!

I'm a little mad

About Dr. seuss. A funny bit I'd forgotten about from one of his books. Try to read this out loud really fast.

Let’s have a little talk about tweetle beetles….

What do you know about tweetle beetles?
Well…

When tweetle beetles fight, it’s called a tweetle beetle battle.

And when they battle in a puddle, it’s a tweetle beetle puddle battle.

And when tweetle beetles battle with paddles in a puddle, they call it a tweetle beetle puddle paddle battle.

And when beetles battle beetles in a puddle paddle battle and the beetle battle puddle is a puddle in a bottle…

They call this a tweetle beetle bottle puddle paddle battle muddle,
and…

When beetles fight these battles in a bottle with their paddles and the bottle’s an a poodle and the poodle’s eating noodles…

They call this a muddle puddle tweetle poodle beetle noodle bottle paddle battle,
and…

Now wait a minute Mr. Socks Fox!

When a fox is in the bottle where the tweetle beetles battle with their paddles in a puddle on a noodle-eating poodle.
THIS is what they call…

A tweetle beetle noodle poodle bottles paddled muddled duddled fuddled wuddled fox in socks, sir!

26" Amy Butler print cincher, $75

  • Jul. 24th, 2008 at 9:24 PM
Hello everyone.. After recently moving and expecting two corsets in the mail in the next few months, I decided it's time to clean out my closet a bit to make room.

I only have the one picture of this corset on my computer right now, but if anyone is interested I can take some more in the morning. I am asking $75, which includes shipping in the US. I can ship outside of the US, but I will have to find out how much it would cost.

One reason I am asking so little for this cute little cincher is that when I opened the box it came to me in, I accidently put a little tear in the binding.

Few more pics here : http://flickr.com/photos/jillscorsets/page2/

The corset itself is made with Amy Butler print cotton fabric, double boning. The binding and laces are made with pink satin. There are also four garter loops.

The waist closes at 26", there is a modesty panel.
underbust ~ 28-29"
hip ~ 34-35"
busk lenght ~ 10"

Raw Minerals - Ambiaty Skincare Line

  • Jul. 24th, 2008 at 3:58 PM

In my quest for the right mineral makeup, I eventually settled on Raw Minerals. I've been very happy with them and love that they are a green company based right here in Manhattan Beach (so I am supporting local business). Earlier in the week, I received an email from them promoting a new line of skincare with all natural ingredients. After checking what was in the products, and noting that I could sample them for less than $2 for shipping, I decided to try yet another anti-aging product.

I've tried a lot of products through the last year. Some of them have been infomercial fodder. Others have been very high end products such as the over hyped Kate Somerville collection. I haven't found anything that I'm truly in love with or that does what it claims.

The Raw Minerals Ambiaty Eye Cream and Serum arrived yesterday and I tried it right away. I had no expectations of seeing any instant change. So, imagine my surprise as I watched all the tiny lines only I see when smashing my face up to a mirror disappear. My skin couldn't get enough of the products. But it made sense. They contain things I drink like Acai, which always makes me feel like a million dollars. A skincare expert at Spa Gaucin once told me that if it's good for your insides, it's probably good for your skin. The product promised plump skin, reducing fine lines, and a healthy glow. That's exactly what I received right away. I can only imagine what will happen after a few weeks. It's very exciting.

I highly recommend this skincare system. It's not cheap but it actually works. If you become a Raw Mineral member, you'll get a substantial discount.

What's Yer Corn

  • Jul. 24th, 2008 at 3:48 PM
Mmm.  I have 6 ears of local farm corn brining in their husks in the fridge right now.  Can't wait to get home and roast some up before my shoot.

(Gotta remember to floss before I go. :p)

I really need to get my green cones going so I can start composting my veggie scraps.

Recommendation

Hi,
I'm living in the Netherlands and am looking to get a VCH done in the near future. Can anyone recommend a good piercer, preferably in the Hague?
Thanks.

I'm looking for looooong boots. Not necessarily thigh length, over knee would do, but need to have low heels, be they blocky or chunky. Under three inches, but not flat. Patent or matte, but obviously black. Can I find any? Pah. If anyone has any leads, let me know, and naturally price needs to be sensible... I love stupid heels, but I can't walk in them. Boo.
